Ready to Work
What is Ready to Work?
A partnership between the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Ready to Work is designed to promote the success of Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (K-TAP) recipients who attend community and technical colleges and to provide short-term training opportunities.
Let us help with:
• Job references and referrals
• Short term training, job skills, and academic success seminars
• Counseling, advising, and mentoring
• Agency referrals
What is Work and Learn?
Ready to Work services have been expanded to include K-Tap adult basic education students who are working toward their GED and high school graduates updating basic skills. Work and Learn assists students by helping them make the transition to college smooth and successful.
