The Big Sandy Singers, the elite singing ensemble from Big Sandy Community and Technical College will perform for the International Festival on the main campus of Somerset Community College. The Somerset Community College International Festival is presented as a street fair that seeks to celebrate the richness of the world's diverse cultures and promote unity and acceptance in the local community. This mission is accomplished through presenting authentic international cuisine, lively diverse music and visually appealing cultural exhibits. We also promote exploration and learning through a series of educational workshops.

 

This year, with the help of our program participants, which includes SCC faculty, students, staff, as well as elementary and middle school age children and local residents, we will explore various traditions of different cultures and countries. Celebrations will be held at the following locations:

 

The public is invited to all of the following events and admission is free.
